Wednesday 11:00 pm I heard a gunshot outside my home and when I went to investigate I discovered that an MPD officer had been forced to shoot a Mountain Lion that had made an aggressive move toward the officer.  The Mountain Lion was killed instantly by the gunshot and did not suffer. 

At the last council meeting the Mayor found it funny and joked that the council was convening the Redevelopment agency meeting to approve the minutes and then adjourn so that the council could receive their pay under state law for holding an Agency meeting, after being asked to re-think the wage freeze for the General [...]
