MPD Officer Forced To Shoot A Mountain Lion To Protect Self And Community

Wednesday 11:00 pm I heard a gunshot outside my home and when I went to investigate I discovered that an MPD officer had been forced to shoot a Mountain Lion that had made an aggressive move toward the officer.  The Mountain Lion was killed instantly by the gunshot and did not suffer.
