I just finished reading a page and half report written by the city manager Scott Ochoa in his Weekly Report defending his poor handling of the city’s dealings with the MPOA on the communities dime.

Preliminary agreement has been reached in the salary and benefit dispute betwen the City of Monrovia and the Monrovia Police Officers’ Associaton (MPOA).
 
The MPOA’s membership voted over the past week to accept the deal points for a five-year labor contract that had been agreed to by both City and MPOA negotiators.
 

Once again our City Council has chosen to reward bad behavior and incompetence with a new four year contract and a City Manager compensation package that will total over a Quarter Million Dollars with benefits.
